Latin America is a land of opportunities. The region's vibrant cultural diversity and wide range of socio-economic realities mean there's no "one-size-fits-all" solution. This necessitates a deep, empathetic understanding of local contexts, behaviors, and unmet needs, which is precisely where human-centric design excels.
Designit, an already established +20 year old European strategic design firm understood that and invited me to join one of their most iconic projects in Colombia…and that opened a pandora's box, full of beautiful conversations, projects and people looking to create impact at scale and embrace design as a driver for sustainable change.

In 2015, I sparked our first Latin American office into life in Medellín: 18 passionate designers, $1.2M in yearly revenue and an energy that only Antioquia knows how to brew. As the operation grew, so did our appetite, and soon we opened our second office in Lima : 11 brilliant minds generating over €1M in yearly revenue. Coast meets Highland. Flavor meets Charm. Two cities, one soul: designing what truly matters, with heart and ambition.
