Understanding the challenge
As the largest conglomerate in Peru, Intercorp has spent the past three decades expanding across sectors and become a leading name in the market. However, as the world has evolved and changed, and new digital players start to act faster and bolder, Intercorp has started to feel the weight of many of its traditionally structured organisations.
After years of exploring different ways of accelerating digital product development and strategy and igniting change across different organisations, Intercorp felt it was time to go big and look on ways of scaling to other parts of the organisation the factors that made digital product teams successful.
Framing the approach
Assessing the context: understanding the real state of things across companies, blockers and enablers, strategy definition, decision-making processes, resource allocation, project management, etc.
Codify a framework: Connecting the dots between success factors that enable teams to thrive, and map a set of principles, practices and tools to be piloted on teams and organizational setups that were struggling.
Piloting interventions: Selected teams facing complex work challenges, coaching themand introducing practices that can help them remove blockers, become more efficient, show up and feel safe of trying new things.
Preparing for launch and scale: We piigybacked on the main innovation yearly event to launch the movement, introduce thousand of people new ways of achieving extraordinary resoluts, and a set of resources and engagement models through which we could help teams and leaders embrace new ways of working

We set up and run up a portfolio of resources for teams to embrace new practices that improved the way they collaborate and deliver value: tutorials, educational program, toolkits, templates, coaching services, tailored transformation programa for companies, among other set of services. As COVID-19 hit the project after 3 months of being launched, it pivoted to help teams navigate uncertainty and transition towards hybrid ways of working, eventually turning into a full corporate platform of assets, comms and resources to improve the way they work.
